What is an impact center?

Dec 1, 2020

Throughout the Sharing Insights Podcast, the term Impact Centers is used occasionally to refer to permaculture farms, eco-retreat centers, and Intentional communities that have some kind of educational and/or outreach component to their mission.

It points to the fact that these places are making a pointed effort to live and do business in an ecologically beneficial way, but they welcome others in to learn and grow through their efforts.

This video is a brief exploration of that niche of land-based projects.

Visit our Podcast interview page or our YouTube Channel to find full-length interviews with owners of some of these unique experimentation stations for a new way of living.

You can also visit NuMundo to find an extensive directory of impact centers.
